St. Johnsbury, VT — 25 march 2026 — VERDA Water Quality Systems, a leader in healthcare water quality solutions and ANSI/AAMI ST108 compliance, today announced the expansion of its Water Quality Services team with the addition of Eric Trautwein as Water Quality Services Specialist and Eve Crockett as Water Quality Services Coordinator.
These strategic hires reflect VERDA’s continued investment in delivering scalable, high-touch water quality management programs for healthcare facilities nationwide.
As hospitals increasingly navigate the complexities of ANSI/AAMI ST108:2023, VERDA continues to strengthen its ability to provide not only compliant water systems—but the ongoing service, monitoring, and expertise required to sustain them.
Strengthening Field Expertise and Technical Execution
Eric Trautwein joins VERDA with a strong background in municipal water systems, regulatory compliance, and field-based water quality investigations. His experience spans water treatment, wastewater operations, and distribution system integrity, with a consistent track record of maintaining regulatory compliance and resolving complex water quality challenges.
In his role as Water Quality Services Specialist, Eric will support customer site assessments, water sampling, compliance reporting, and technical consultation—helping healthcare facilities translate water quality data into actionable improvements.
“Eric brings a rare combination of field experience, regulatory discipline, and customer-facing problem solving,” said Wendy Schultz, Water Quality Services Manager. “He understands how to move from data to decision-making, which is exactly what our customers need as they work toward sustainable ST108 compliance.”
Building the Operational Backbone of Water Quality Programs
Eve Crockett joins VERDA with nearly a decade of laboratory and water quality experience, including leadership in data management, QA/QC processes, and regulatory reporting. Her background includes managing laboratory operations, overseeing compliance documentation, and ensuring accuracy and integrity in water testing data.
As Water Quality Services Coordinator, Eve will lead the coordination of sampling logistics, laboratory partnerships, data processing, and reporting workflows—ensuring that VERDA’s customers receive timely, accurate, and actionable water quality insights.
“Eve plays a critical role in making sure nothing falls through the cracks,” said Wendy Schultz. “From sample collection to final reporting, her work ensures our customers have confidence in both their data and their compliance.”
Scaling Service to Meet Industry Demand
Together, these roles represent a deliberate expansion of VERDA’s service infrastructure—bridging field execution with data management and customer communication.
Unlike traditional water service providers, VERDA’s model integrates:
- On-site expertise and technical consultation
- Structured sampling and compliance reporting
- Ongoing monitoring aligned with ST108 requirements
- Dedicated coordination across labs, systems, and stakeholders
This integrated approach allows healthcare organizations to move beyond reactive water management toward proactive, compliant, and sustainable programs.
